Bama varsity appoints pioneer vice chancellor, others

The Federal University of Agriculture and Entrepreneurship, Bama has announced the appointment of its principal officers as part of efforts to strengthen the institution’s administrative and academic leadership.
The newly appointed officers include Prof. Tijjani Kalli as Vice Chancellor, Abba Kaka Goni as Registrar, Aishatu Miringa as Librarian, and Bashir Zabairu as Bursar.
The appointments are expected to provide strategic direction and administrative stability for the institution as it advances its mandate in agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship, research and academic excellence in Borno State and the country at large.
Members of the university community, stakeholders and well-wishers have congratulated the newly appointed principal officers, expressing confidence in their capacity to contribute to the growth and development of the institution.
The university reiterated its commitment to building a centre of excellence dedicated to quality education, human capital development and sustainable national progress.
Meanwhile, tributes have continued to pour in for Prof. Tijjani Kalli following his appointment as the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the institution.
Among those who congratulated him was Kaka Shehu Lawan, who described the appointment as the beginning of a promising new era for the university.
He said Kalli’s wealth of experience would help the institution thrive in its formative years and prayed for wisdom, guidance and good health for him to discharge his responsibilities successfully.
