As the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission announces July as the month for elections across the 21 local government areas, a grassroots politician and youth activist, Comrade Dauda Kushu, has declared his interest to contest for the Chairmanship position of Hong local government area under the All Progressives Congress (APC) party.
In a press statement, Kushu cited the need to revitalize the APC in Hong LGA, which has been traumatized by previous election defeats, and to checkmate the ruling PDP’s dominance in the state.
He expressed confidence that his entry into the race will help the APC regain its lost glory and reinvigorate its support base at the grassroots.
Kushu’s declaration was met with enthusiasm from his supporters, who urged him to run and salvage the party’s fortunes in Hong LGA.
