Bauchi Governor To Introduce New Economic Policies Amid Hardship

Worried by the present economic hardship across the country, Bauchi State Governor, Governor Bala Mohammed, has vowed to implement new economic policies to address the current hardship faced by citizens in the state.

He made the commitment in Jama’are Local Government Area on Tuesday, in continuation of the week-long activities for inauguration of road construction projects in some parts of the state.

The governor expressed concern over the rising prices of essential goods, pledging to introduce measures to boost commercial activities.

According to him, the ongoing construction of rural roads are aimed at connecting communities to their farmlands and enable smooth movement of goods and services.

Mohammed urged the people of Jama’are Emirate to cooperate with the contractors handling the project in the area to facilitate timely and successful completion.

Responding on behalf of the benefiting communities, the Emir of Jama’are Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Wabi, who commended the Governor for the project pledged readiness to support all policies aimed at improving the wellbeing of people.
